More info needed: Depending on the type of thalassemia, different bone issues can be present--Thal Major--serious and lifelong transfusion requirement can cause bone marrow increased production and can make some bones increase in size--as head bones and skull bones. I know of no specific issue with Thal Minor--A or B. Please re-ask your question if I have not answered your question.
