If someone has diabetes but was not diagnosed with it can they have a heart attack without knowing?

Yes: When you look at normal population, there is about 7% who have ekg and studies showing previous heart attack without having noticed. Diabetics can be having a heart attack and not feel the usual symptoms acutely and it is surmised that can be as high as 30%.
