Blood loss: Any blood loss is serious. It also depends on if loss happens quickly or over a long period of time - the body has different mechanisms to deal with different blood losses. However, a 10% blood loss is serious and a 20% blood loss is very dangerous. Again, it also depends on surrounding circumstances. Please discuss with child's caretakers if blood counts dropping.
