A member asked:

How much or how little blood loss can cause you to faint?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If sufficient, sure: Substantial bleeding which can lower blood pressure, and cause decreased blood flow to brain certainly does cause syncope, but in some cases, the site of blood itself can evoke a vasovagal reaction with a reactive faint.
