A member asked:

I want to be pregnant.but i have anemia(iron deficiency). is it still possible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Whoa: You need to have the cause of your iron deficiency identified and treated. If you have an undiagnosed cancer, stomach ulcer, malabsorption or inflammatory bowel disease, or if you are on an unhealthy diet that has made you iron-deficient, you need to wait until this can be remedied. You want to be the best possible mother for your unborn child. Wait until you are healthy.
