The instructions for using cosopt eye drops say to wait 20 minutes before inserting a contacts lens. why do you need to wait that long?

Help absorption: 20 minutes is probably a conservative amount of time, but you want the drop to get into your eye so your eye pressure can go down, not absorb into your contact lens.
