In what way can i differentiate between morton's neuroma and metatarsalgia in general?

Location: Neuromas are generally inbetween the metatarsal heads where metatarsalgia is pain to the met heads. Also, a neuroma is a structure that can be visualized on ultrasound or MRI whereas metatarsalgia is a general description of pain to the metatarsal head region.
