A member asked:

Can you tell me is giant cell myocarditis curable without a heart transplant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Giant cell: Myocarditis is treated medically with drugs that suppress the immune system. This can delay transplant for months or even years in some cases. Even after transplant, giant cell myocarditis reoccurs in some patients, but not most, and it is usually not as severe.
