It depends: A ganglioglioma is a type of brain or spinal cord tumor. Grade 2 means it has medium aggressiveness (on a scale of 1 to 3). These tumors are removed surgically, so what matters most is the location of the tumor. If it is in a place where it can be completely removed, there is a 90% or higher chance of survival at 5 years! the risks of surgery also depend on the location of the tumor.
