All/None: If you live in the USA and eat a fairly healthy diet you do not need a vitamin. Almost all our food is "fortified". We do not need to do any more than obey your mother: "eat your veggies"!

No one knows.: There are no good, head-to-head studies of vitamins. Look for one with 100% of the us rda for the least $$. Also, avoid minerals in your multivitamin.

Many good choices: There is no single best brand but some are much better than others. Here are independent ratings of 101 brands: http://www.Multivitaminguide.Org/ any of the top 30 on that list are good. My personal favorites include ultranutrient from pure encapsulations (not on that list!), ultrapreventive x, life force multiple, life extension mix, maxxum 4 & advanced nutritional system (on this list).
