A member asked:

Can you tell me about radiculitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See Below: Radiculitis = Nerve root inflammation - the nerve root refers to the area where a nerve comes out of the spinal cord. It can result from compression (from bony degeneration of the spine, an abnormal mass pushing on a nerve root, etc.), inflammatory disorders, infections, or cancer. It can be limited to one nerve root or involve multiple roots.
