What is bone biopsy and how was it done?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Taking a piece out: A biopsy is a small piece taken out for microscopic examination of any particular tissue. Is it a bone biopsy(usually done for a tumor or growth) or is it a bone marrow(taken out to test for blood disorders).
