I had not heard : About it so i googled to see if it exists. It is not surgery but a form of acupressure which uses laser beams on pressure points. You can read about it here: http://www.Ehow.Com/facts_5529777_laser-surgery-quit-smoking.Html#page=0 it is not well researched yet, but minimally invasive and it takes one session according to this article.
