Several: There are several benefits to Gingko supplementation according to a reliable website. www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/ginkgo/evidence/HRB-20059541 It has fairly good evidence for helping cerebral insufficiency, dementia, generalized anxiety disorder and schizophrenia, however more research is needed to determine an effective dose and risks vs benefits.

Tricky: since recent studies say that nearly all ginko supplements may have many things in them, but ginko is almost never one of them. In theory it has some anti-platelet action and some ability to increase the neurotransmitter that is low in Alzheimers. But it doesn't bring back brain, so, VERY LIMITED role in dementia and that's it. Assuming you actually have it.
