> $500 : A dentist may charge anywhere from $500 on up to $1500 for a zirconia abutment. Zirconia is the strongest porcelain available, difficult to manufacture, & adjust. Typically these abutments are not stock and have to be custom fabricated, increasing the lab fee that the dentist has to incur. But zirconia is all white which provides for a very esthetic implant or tooth replacement.
