Is it true that compartment syndrome is hereditary?

No: Compartment syndrome related to trauma, post surgery not genetically related ( not hereditary ) exercise stress related compartment , fascia will not yield and allow the built up of pressure inside causing the syndrome as family members have similar body , but not reported as familial ( yet).
