.: This syndrome is related to compression of muscle nerve and blood vessel is a compartment. It occur in the forearm and distal lower extremity. Causes range from fracture, to vessel injury, reperfusion, burn, tight cast and bleeding.

Can be serious: It is a very severe and serious condition that can result in nerve and muscle damage if not treated. It results from pressure on those tissues, often from fracture or crush injury. It is not at all uncommon from trauma and following emergency vascular surgery on the legs.
