Osseous surgery: is usually done by a periodontist. adequate anesthesia and sedation are used. After the access to the bone is established the dead bone and tissue are removed and the area is cleaned. The site is covered with a periodontal pack or dressing for healing and comfort. Instructions are given and explained. Good luck.
