A member asked:

How can i cure periodontal disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You can't : There is no cure for periodontal disease there is elimination of periodontal disease the periodontist can eliminate the disease thru treatment and you can eliminate its return by good oral hygiene and regular professional cleanings but you can't sterilize the mouth, plaque will still form and your bacteria will still give off its acid waste products to attack your gums. Good oral hygiene please!
