See Your Doctor: An unhealthy kidney cannot do the work it is designed to do - clean your blood and keep critical levels of different chemicals in balance. Kidney failure is when the kidneys can no longer do the work needed and you doctor has to use medicines to help you out or prescribe dialysis which is kidney replacement treatment. Bottom line - see your doctor soon please.
