Probably good: Many times if someone is ill and in the hospital, their appetite is quite suppressed. If he feels well enough to resume eating, one would presume that would be a positive indicator. Given his CHF and kidney condition, he will need to watch what types of foods he takes, so he does not relapse into one or the other.
