Cosmetic: People usually get porcelain veneers because they want their smile to look much better. Veneers are placed over the front of the tooth which usually has been slightly reshaped to the veneer will bond to the tooth. I love doing them because they make some wonderful major changes to a persons smile.

Moreover, since they are made of a ceramic, they are color stable and the surface is strong and resists wearing away. In addition they are artistically created outside your mouth so the aesthetics can be enhanced and more so controlled.
