Please advise what is the difference between vasodilation and peripheral vasodilation ?

Dilated vessels: They're generally interchangeable depending on context. Vasodilation means blood vessels are relaxed and their diameter is increased. The "peripherey" refers to the all circulation except the heart, brain, lungs and aorta.
