No...: Anxiety is usually associated with higher levels of adrenaline like hormones which typically cause constriction of vessels. Prolonged hyperventilation which can be associated with anxiety, can cause changes in ph, calcium and potassium levels which may alter these responses. Veins are much less affected by these changes.
