The length of time required for the resorbable sutures to resorb or dissolve will depend upon the specifc type of resorbable suture placed. 3-5 days: 3-5 days with most commonly used resorbable sutures. Some last longer. Ask oral surgeon. If really annoying, they can be trimmed back.
