As with any other. : Timolol, like most meds, has a wide range of reported side effects, some more serious than others, some more frequent than others. Read the package insert for complete list of adverse effects. To discontinue or switch may depend on patients tolerance. Get medical help if you have any of these serious signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue.

Timolol eye drops: are used to lower eye pressure in patients with glaucoma. Side effects are mostly due to the timolol getting in your system through your tear drainage system. They include shortness of breath, low heart rate, tiredness, dry mouth, and decreased libido. The preservatives in these types of drops can cause eye redness, irritation, and blurry vision. Good luck.
