Lime disease: Contracted by infected (from a black legged or a deer tick) tick bite, lime disease is caused by borrelia burgdorferi bacteria. The tick is infected by feeding on an infected deer or mice. Lyme disease can cause rashes, body aches, fever, chills, weakness, swollen joints which may give rise to jaw tightness. Tx is antibiotic (amoxicillin in child and Doxycycline in adult)from 10 up to 21 days.
