Yes: Especially in children. Many food allergies can be outgrown with maturing immune and gastrointestinal systems. Most patients with diarrhea don't have a true food allergy (involving immune system response) as the cause. Diarrheas may be due to digestive issues (e.g. Celiac sprue), intolerance, malabsorption (e.G lactose), infection (bacterial, viral, parasitic), inflammatory, irritable bowel.
