A member asked:

When medical people talk about kidney function, and arteriosclerosis effecting it, what does that actually mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Kidney function: The kidneys work by flitering the blood which flows through them. Arteriosclerosis can impede the flow of blood through organs, including the kidneys. When it does impede flow through the kidneys, kidney function suffers.
