For how long does it take until lichen planus goes away?

Until removed: Usually lichen planus is the white lesion of pre-cancer. I will disappear by itself in a normal condition. It is suggested that you are under the care of a physician or dentist watch for the change over a period of time. Laser can be a useful tool to have it removed easily.

No cure: There is no cure, just maintenance for lichen planus. Several dentists work with particular pharmacies to have a custom rinse made up for helping with the problem. Sometimes some meds may have to be administered in severe cases. I would consult your dentist or an oral surgeon.
