Diabetic control: The risk to the eyes in diabetes relates largely to the careful control of the sugar. This is monitored with a blood test called hba1c which measures long term control. It should be under 6.5 if possible - the lower the better. No exercise can change this although exercise is part of diabetic control. The "solution" is to be compulsive with your diabetic control.
