A member asked:

Do freckles stop coming on skin as a person ages and with proper sunscreen use?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sun damage: Despite sunscreen use the sun will still cause darkening of freckles and sunspots known as solar lentigos. Many people notice that their sunspots are progressing despite sunscreen use. Continue to use your sunscreen SPF 30 or higher; I like physical blockers such as Titanium and zinc. Photofacials are effective at removing sunspots, skin peels and bleaching creams can also be helpful. Wear a hat.
