Have the flu. just noticed blood in my stool. it's red, not black. been taking lots of acetaminophen and ibuprofen. also took tamiflu (oseltamivir).

Red in stool: This is likely a hemorrhoid. Soften the stools with colace (docusate sodium) 100 mg two times a day and use a teaspoon of mineral oil three to four times a day. This should help. You should have this checked by a gastrointestinal specialist. Good luck.
