No.You will do fine!: Your CP should not present a major challenge to your anesthesia care team. CP alone should not prevent you from having regional anesthesia (spinal or epidural) and should also be easily managed for a general anesthetic, if that is indicated. Either anesthetic technique will prevent you from having jerking/tensing in the areas anesthetized and will provide excellent operating conditions for your ob.

Don't worry.: We are used to working with patients who have movement disorders. It's not that uncommon. Sometimes people move just because they are nervous or scared. They can't help it either. We are used to it. We can handle it.
