I had excision of bartholin's cyst 3/22 under local anesthesia last period 3/4. no period it's 5/25. not pregnant. should i be worried? i want a period!

The local anesthesia: Is definitely not related to your missed period. Call your gyn for an evaluation and try another pregnancy test.

Period: Not sure if you're implying the delayed period related to the anesthesia & surgery or not; however, if you were previously on time every time, i would be concerned for a possible pregnancy. I would assume they did a urine test prior to your anesthesia, however, it may have been just early enough to be missed. Best of luck.

Talk to your MD: A brief derangement of your period is not unexpected after anesthesia, but 2 months is too long.
