Follow-up on markers. my tsh is 5.5 and i use markers for art class. will the smell affect thyroid? hormones? fertility? won't use them when pregnant.

Elevated TSH: The elevated TSH may affect your chance of getting or keeping the pregnancy, the fumes may affect you in other ways but shouldn't be a cause of the elevated tsh. Still, you need to get this treated to improve your chance of conceiving successfully.

NO: Nothing will affect that value. But that is definitely abnormal. You really need full thyroid testing and treatment for both health reasons and for the health of a potential baby.
