Many causes: At your age could be irritable bowel syndrome, also the food you eat i.e. Beans etc. Please see your family physician. Do what your mother may have told you, eat slowly and chew your food well. Eating too fast causes gas to accumulate in your intestines and may give you bloating ; cramps.

See a GI doctor: You need to be examined by a gastroenterologist. This may be due to diverticular disease, although unusual at your age, or possibly by some inflammatory process adjacent to the colon or rectum. But for specific diagnosis and approach to treatment you must be seen. Good luck.
