Getting sleep: Eliminate caffeine and alcohol from your diet. Make sure your room is dark, quiet, and cool, with comfortable bed. No big meals or energizing exercise within 3 hours of going to bed. Computer off at least 1 hour before bed, with established sleep routine. Go to bed and get up at same time daily, even on weekends. Take warm/hot bath with lavender. Drink chamomile tea before bed.
