Start w/ evaluation: There are lots of reasons for abdominal bloating ; many are not due to the GI tract. Bowel "problems" often accompany GI disorders--whether functional or "organic." if pain with meals consider peptic (acid), biliary, or pancreatic disease. If bleeding or tenderness is present, this suggests inflammation, ischemia, or infection. Don't ignore if persistent, tenderness, pain. Please see your doctor.
