Is my herpes still active if my groin lymph nodes are still swollen. my sores have been gone for over 2 weeks. they arent swollen as much.

Herpes: Yes. Of course. Once you have herpes you have herpes. Your sores may heal. But, the bad news is that you are going to be contagious at the site of infection at ongoing unpredictable rates. This phenomenon is known as viral shedding. If you are in relationship with someone who id not infected with tis herpes then your physician may put you on medication to lower the risk of viral shedding.
