Time: Costochondritis and tietze syndrome often improve w/ nsaids and avoidance of activities which aggravate the chest pain.If Mobic (meloxicam) is not helping your physician may want to try a different antiinflammatory.Orthopedists are sometimes asked to see pts. W/ rib pain.My experience is that this inflammatory pain almost always improves w/ time... Best of luck!
