Bipartite patella: It is called a bipartite patella. No therapy is needed.

Bipartite Patella: It is not rare for patellas to have one or more centers of ossification. The most common is near the upper / outer aspect of the patella. Most are asymptomatic. In a small number of patients, the area between the bony parts may become painful. This can usually be managed nonoperatively.
