Probably: To my knowledge there are no interactions between Cymbalta (duloxetine) ; doxycycline. If other medications listed are your husband's "normal medicines, " ; he is not taking any that were unlisted, Cymbalta (duloxetine) ; Doxycycline should be okay together. My references do not show interactions between listed meds. Cymbalta (duloxetine), however, has been known to increase bp, arrhythmias, ; blood glucose. Call provider about any adverse effect.

Safe: I can't find any interactions between Cymbalta (duloxetine) and doxycycline, so the combination should be safe. A pharmacist can also help you with these issues.
