Usually not: However, some sensitive stomachs may feel that. Also, if your stomach lining is inflamed (gastritis or ulcer), caffeinated beverages may irritate it even worse and cause nausea.

Absolutely can: Caffeine is a constrictor of blood vessels, a stimulant of the brain, and diuretic (causes body to lose water). Particularly for the reason that it acts in the central nervous system as a stimulant (that's how it becomes a pick me upper) is why it likely causes nausea. Now, you only do 1 daily before affected. I can drink starbucks literally every few hours and i never get nauseous.

Possible: Coffee/tea can cause nausea as a stomach irritant-causing stomach upset. Some people are more sensitive to this effect than others, and food consumption before drinking coffee can have an effect on stomach-related symptoms. Both may contain caffeine that can raise blood pressure ; cause feelings of dizziness, heart palpitations ; stomach irritation.
