Not common to stain: It does not contain Chlorhexidine which is a prescription mouth wash to prevent gingivitis and does cause staining it contains triclosan and cetylpyridinium chloride.Sold in uk, australia, newzeland and some european countries but if used incorrectly or overused it can cause some staining but not like Chlorhexidine it is recommended for long term use to prevent gingivitis.

Yes it does but.: Yes prolonged use of mouth washes specially the ones containing chlorhexedien does cause some staining , but with the proper dental care and periodic dental check ups and cleaning. That shouldn't be a problem.
