Something else: Most likely there's something else going on that requires thorough evaluation and treatment by an ophthalmologist. Two months is too long for uncomplicated conjunctivitis. Call your primary care provider to help you as soon as possible.

A few thoughts: Persistent symptoms could be due to inappropriate or incomplete treatment, recurrent exposure to infection or allergen, or misdiagnosis to begin with!
