Treatment for RVO?: Yes. In addition to traditional laser photocoagulation, there are several new medications that have proven to be very beneficial. Some of these medications are injected into the eye. Treatment of the underlying disease is important not only in maximizing repair processes, but to prevent recurrence. Untreated, rvo may result in severe vision loss.
