Get checked out: In general when I have a patient who tells me they have chest pain when exercising, i take it very seriously. I'm concerned that it could be related to a blockage in a heart artery that's leading to insufficient oxygen delivery to the heart when the heart is working hard during exercise. This could be dangerous. Other less dangerous causes include muscle or bone pain, or even reflux.
