Can you tell me which sleeping pills may work as nembutal and seconal (secobarbital)?

Specializes in Internal Medicine - Sleep Medicine

See below: Seconal (secobarbital) ; Nembutal (pentobarbital) are barbiturates with many side effects. They aren't usually prescribed in the us for insomnia. If you're having trouble sleeping, it is advisable to see a sleep medicine specialist. Avoid long term use of medications for insomnia; rather good sleep hygiene (avoid alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, electronics, ; bright lights close to bedtime) is key.
