A member asked:

Could pains in the lower part of the head behind the ear show signs of an aneurysm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pains: Aneurysm is usually asymptomatic until the clinical event occurs. Pain in the head could possibly be a sign of ruptured or enlarging aneurysm but it would be unlikely to be a sign of an aneurysm not actively enlarging or rupturing. In the spectrum of pains behind the ear, aneurysm would be way down on the list.
